About the event

On the occasion of India’s 73rd Republic Day Celebrations, we at Bharatiyam, invite you to an exciting and fun-filled Panel Discussion on “Opportunities and Challenges for a rising India in the next decade” with well-renowned scientists and faculty from MIT, Stanford and NASA. We welcome you to join us in this virtual (online) event and register as soon as possible.

Our Panelists:

• Prof. Sanjay Sarma is a Professor at MIT and the Vice-President for Open Learning at MIT. He is the co-founder of several companies and inventor of key RFID technologies. He serves on the board of edX and advises several national governments and companies.
• Dr. Anurag Mairal is the Director for Global Outreach Programs at Stanford Byers Center for Biodesign, Stanford University. He is also a Faculty Fellow and Lead for Technology Innovation and Impact at Center for Innovation in Global Health. He works with partners in the U.S., India, China, and other emerging markets.
• Dr. Parag Vaishampayan is the Space Biology Portfolio Scientist at NASA’s Ames Research Center. He supports several space biology projects to better understand how spaceflight affects living systems in space, and preparing future human exploration missions beyond low Earth orbit. He is a leading microbial ecologist working in the field of Space biology, Astrobiology, and planetary protection.
